Computerized Test:

Registration: Available year-round; you must book at least 3 days in advance.
Testing Method: Administered on a computer, with a magnetic tablet for writing. You can request pen and paper if needed.
Results: Grades are typically available within 2 days to 2 weeks.
Scientific vs. Artistic Sections:
Scientific: 50% quantitative, 50% verbal.
Artistic: 30% quantitative, 70% verbal. Algebra questions are excluded for artistic students.
Why Take the First Exam as Paper-Based?
Taking the paper-based test helps familiarize you with the format and types of questions.
Computer-based questions tend to be fixed and may be direct translations of the Arabic exam. The source file for these is known as "105," although it may change.
The paper test includes 120 questions, some of which are experimental and do not affect your score. The computerized version has only 96 questions.
Once time is up for a section, you cannot go back to review answers in the computerized test, making it crucial to manage your time effectively.

Fahad Al-Tamimi: Focuses on foundational concepts.
Khan Academy: Offers a wide range of tutorials.

Recommended Books for GAT Preparation:
Excellence in GAT and معاصر ٦ بلس are among the best resources. Since GAT-specific materials are limited, using Arabic textbooks is highly recommended. The معاصر book is excellent for quantitative preparation. For verbal skills, enhancing your vocabulary through reading and using tools like "Google Word Coach" or vocabulary apps can be beneficial.
Top GAT Courses: While I haven’t personally tried them, "Aziee" and "Zamatime" are recommended. Aziee may be on the pricier side but is well-regarded. However, taking a course is not strictly necessary, and experiences may vary.
Starting with the Al Moaser Book: If you find the Al Moaser book challenging, consider starting with the basics through Imad Al-Jaziri and Fahad Al-Tamimi on YouTube, and then return to the book for more advanced practice.
